HOW TO MAKE A PLANT STAND

Welcome, guys! Thanks for coming and watching our newest DIY project! If you also have some leftover material from woodworking, you can also replicate this simple DIY project.

Tool Preparation: Jig Saw, Circular Saw, Electric Drill, Orbit Sander, Chisel, Hammer, Quick Action Clamp.

*Cut different lengths of wood to make it, depending on the size and height of the potted plant you want to place it.

There are only a few steps:

1. Cutting and Sanding
First, cut the wood blocks to the required lengths and use a sander to smooth out all the surfaces.

2. Cutting the Half-Lap Joints
Cut a slot in the middle of the two core wood pieces, with the depth being half the thickness of the block.

3. Chiseling and Fitting
Use a chisel to refine the slots, ensuring the two pieces can be embedded into each other to form a tight cross-joint.

4. Marking and Gluing
Mark the connection points on the four long wooden legs and apply wood glue to the joining areas.

5. Assembly and Clamping
Assemble the legs with the cross-joint and secure them with clamps. Let it sit for about 24 hours to ensure the glue bonds firmly.

6. Drilling and Reinforcement
Finally, drill pilot holes at the connection points and drive in screws to enhance the overall structural stability of the stand.

Voila! The plant stand is now complete!
