HOW TO DIY A FIGURINE DISPLAY BOX
Welcome, guys! We greatly appreciate that you have come to watch our newest DIY project. This piece works perfectly to show off your favorite collectibles, or you can utilize it to create a unique piece of home decor.
We made a short video to better illustrate this useful DIY, here is the video, feel free to watch it.
Preparation: Wood Panels, Acrylic Board, Measuring Tape, Screws, Hinges, Horn Locks, Circular Saw, Power Drill, Orbit Sander, Wood Router& Electric Tacker.
There are only a few steps:
To begin with, use a circular saw to cut the wood panels into 9 pieces according to the sizes listed below:
A:1cm*52cm x 2 B:1cm*14cm x 2 C:11.4cm*17.4cm x 2 D:17.4cm*55.4cm x 2 E:55.4cm*11.4cm x 1
Once the pieces are cut, use an orbital sander to smooth the edges of the wood blocks.
Moving on to the third step, use a wood router to cut a groove into one side of bars A and B. Once you complete this process, nail the bars together as you carefully embed the acrylic board between them.
Next, utilize quick-action clamps to fasten wood blocks C, D, and E. While clamping them, nail the blocks together until you complete the frame of the cabinet.
Once you have fastened the main body and lid of the cabinet, install the hinges and locks using a drill driver. With these steps completed, you have now finalized the installation of the lid!
Lastly, simply add the items inside the cabinet to finish your DIY project, and it is now ready for you to enjoy!
Now, the display box is ready! You can use it to store anything you want!
